FOCAL POINT

Jesus cut him short. "Be quiet! Come out of the man," he ordered.-mark 1:25 (NLT)
Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit present in a man, which manifested itself as He taught in the synagogue. The manifestation of the unclean spirit became a distraction from the teaching session of Jesus. He immediately rebuked it and cast it out. It was causing disorder and disrupting the service; It was trying to take the attention off, from Jesus.

What disrupts you from focusing on Christ; during church, in your prayer time, in your daily life? what have you allowed to be a means of distraction? Are you in His presence yet not in His presence?

Like Jesus, speak to these distractions sternly and cast them off your path of divine vision. Jesus is the focal point. Let us keep focused on HIM.

  1. Wow. Thank God for insight. May we be ruthless with distractions. Amen.
